Browen named Big Lake Girls' and Boys' Tennis Coach

Browen named Big Lake Girls' and Boys' Tennis Coach
BIG LAKE, Minn. – May 22, 2024 – Activities Director Jared Matson is pleased to announce that Julie Browen has been named the next head girls’ and boys’ tennis coach for the Hornets, pending board approval.
Browen has been an assistant in both programs for the past seven seasons and is also a teacher at Big Lake Middle School.
“I am excited for this opportunity to continue coaching and hopefully growing the Big Lake Tennis program," Coach Browen said.
“Julie has done an excellent job as an assistant coach in our tennis programs for many years. She has a strong passion for the sport and for Big Lake tennis as a whole,” Big Lake Activities Director Jared Matson commented. “I look forward to working with her to take our tennis programs to the next level.”
The Hornets are already looking forward to the fall season when girls’ tennis starts practice on August 12th.
